We see the ships in the distance. Soldiers march in front of the camera. We see their faces, then a close-up of their feet.
Narrator: Two hundred years ago…
A line of soldiers approaches the camera, their weapons on their left shoulders. One soldier holds a flag, which flutters in the breeze. In the distance we see the water. Change of angle. To the left of the screen, the line of soldiers stands at attention. An officer arrives on horseback, sword in hand.
Narrator: …the United States invaded our territory.
It's dark. A woman runs through the forest.
In a tent, officers consult each other in front of a map on a table. Candles light the interior. Close-up of the senior officer's face.
An army of Canadian soldiers heads into battle.
Narrator: But we defended our land.
